Island Gypsy 44 Flush Aft Deck for sale

KENAPI TEN is a 1989 Island Gypsy 44 trawler built by Kong & Halvorsen. This 13.50 m long-range cruiser combines a traditional trawler profile with a heavily built GRP semi-displacement hull, hard chines and a full-length keel protecting the propellers. Maintained and upgraded over the years, she was refitted in 2025 and received an osmosis treatment in 2023.

Inside, three cabins accommodate up to six guests: a spacious owner's stateroom aft, with the bed widened to 1.80 m and a new sofa, and two guest cabins forward of the saloon, served by two heads with stall showers. The deck saloon features the galley aft to port, the dining table to port and an interior helm station forward to starboard, with Burmese teak woodwork throughout the interior.

On deck, she offers wide side decks, a folding radar mast and a large flybridge with the helm forward and an exterior navigation station. The aft deck, flybridge sole, handrails and transom are in teak. Twin 135 HP Ford Lehman engines (1,300 hours each as of August 2026) give a cruising speed of 8 knots and a range of 1,500 NM. The 2025 refit added a Garmin chartplotter and autopilot, Victron lithium service batteries, an extended bathing platform and an Opacmare hydraulic gangway.
