Outremer 55 for sale

ZENO is a 2023 Outremer 55 performance cruising catamaran (hull number 26), built in reinforced composite by Grand Large Yachting Méditerranée – Outremer in La Grande Motte, France, to a design by VPLP Design. She measures 16.73 m (54 ft 10 in) with a beam of 8.30 m, and holds CE Category A (Ocean) certification for 8 persons.

Below deck, ZENO has an offshore layout with four double cabins, two forward and two aft, each with its own ensuite. The saloon table converts into an additional berth and the cockpit table into a lounger. The island galley is fitted with induction cooking, an Isotherm fridge and freezer, a 100 L/h watermaker and a washing machine, and air-conditioning serves the saloon and two of the cabins.

On deck, the carbon fixed mast, with Kevlar shrouds, carries a North Sails 3Di wardrobe: mainsail, self-tacking jib, staysail, Code Zero, gennaker and spinnaker, for an upwind sail area of 152 m². Handling is supported by 24V Harken electric winches at the working stations and a Line Driver captive winch for the mainsheet. Propulsion is by two Volvo Penta D2-60 diesel engines (2 x 44 kW installed) with saildrives and folding three-blade propellers.

The navigation package is Garmin-based, with two GPSMAP 8412xsv chartplotters, radar, VHF/AIS, wind instruments, forward-looking sonar and autopilot. Communications include Iridium Certus 200 satellite broadband, a Pepwave 5G router and Starlink, and an Ocean Signal EPIRB is fitted. Power is provided by a Mastervolt lithium house bank, 2,090 W of solar panels and a 10 kW Fisher Panda generator, new in 2026.

In 2024-2025, ZENO returned to the builder's refit service, Grand Large Services, for a full refit, completed and validated in October 2025. The works included structural repairs to the hull (laminate, core, bulkheads and stringers), carried out to the builder's construction specifications and to the requirements of the appointed surveyor and insurers. A 24-month yard warranty covers the refit works, valid from 1 October 2025 to 1 October 2027 and transferable to the buyer on written notification.
