Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 29.2
This unit is in good overall condition and ready to sail. The layout is as follows: starting at the bow, we find the anchor locker with manual anchoring system and the genoa furling system.
The side decks are comfortable from bow to stern, and all sail handling lines are led aft to the cockpit. The cockpit is spacious for a yacht of this size and also features a large storage locker.
Inside, descending a few steps, the galley is located on the port side in an L-shaped layout. In this case, it operates on 220V electricity, meaning it does not have the typical gas stove. It is equipped with an electric refrigerator and a single stainless steel sink. On the starboard side, there is the chart table with all electronics conveniently within reach.
The saloon features a folding table with one folding leaf and two berths on both sides, creating a spacious dining area once the table is fully opened.
There are two cabins: one double cabin in the bow within the V-section of the boat, and another aft cabin on the port side, taking advantage of nearly the full beam of the yacht.
Personal Opinion
After visiting the boat, I can say that this yacht fits well within the 8-meter range, while offering advantages over some competitors thanks to its two private cabins with access doors, without making the saloon feel small. The boat appears well maintained, and both the flooring woodwork and interior furniture are in good condition. There are some small typical upholstery details due to age, already addressed by the owner. The bilge was dry, and the keel bolts are clean and in good condition, which is a very important point on this type of vessel. Another major advantage is the engine, which has only 350 hours and was replaced with a newer generation model.... » whole text » less text
